Hethersett is a small village to the South of Norwich, Norfolk. Sport in the community is thriving with football at the forefront. Two adult teams, (Hethersett Wanderers and Hethersett Athletic) both compete in the South Norfolk Sunday League. We were last season, runners-up at U17 level in the Youth Combination League and this season have finished Champions in Division 4B of the Norwich Sunday League. Some of the present squad started playing Cub Football for the village and progressed through the Youth Leagues U11 to U17. We still have nine of the lads who played at U11 football playing this season. The mixture of Youth and experience has blended well, the majority of the team are aged 17 to 20 with three of the parents turning out on occasions. We have also started four lads who play U16 football. Hethersett have Youth teams for boys playing U11, U12, U13, U14 and U16 football and a girls U14 team Last season we were fortunate to get the sponsorship of SALLY FREIGHT who provided the new kit. This season we had MW INSTALLATIONS sponsor us for the new training tops |
